    Hi everyone - longtime club dj here since late 70s. Today I mostly spin my vinyl collection and promote ebm, industrial, darkwave, post-punk, and goth on hypno5.com - I do use my MK3S4 anytime I can take a break from web development work.

    Hi my name is Wes and I live and work in Los Angeles.

    I'm an old dude, a former 35-year studio drummer, bassist, commercial composer and Berklee graduate from the 80s. These days I've been working as a VFX artist in Feature Animation for the last 21 years, and just playing a bit of bass and drums on the side.

    Over the Covid lockdown, I took the opportunity to start building a serious home studio and I am about 70% finished. One of the first new piecs of gear I bought was a Komplete Kontrol s61 and a bunch of NI plugins. I grew up at the dawn of synths and computers, so I love using a mix of vintage guitars, amps, acoustic drums and synths---as well as all of these killer-sounding virtual instruments.

    Having been around since well before the advent of drum machines and digital everything---and also having worked many years into the era of digital recording---I still believe very strongly in the quality of groove, feel and tone that only a skilled musician, masterfully playing a real instrument, can bring. But I also know the value of modern technology and so I fully embrace both!

    If it sounds good, it is good!

    I have already started writing and producing again with a partner and hope to have at least a handful of new songs finished this year, schedule permitting.

    When this studio is finally up and running, I'm going to be offering everything from mixing services and production consultation to acoustic drum tracks.

    Hi I'm Marko from the UK.. using NI Komplete for about 5 years, still gigging with Pink Floyd tribute act - Darkside. Write my own tunes play in 3 other projects too.. Multi instrumentalist, so will have a go at anything. I'm in my late 50's now but still get a buzz from writing and performing.
