which version do i need to work with my laptop and latest NI version 3.9 or an other version?
I have a DELL 15 3000 laptop with ryzen i5 2ghz 32gb RAM and Traktor crashes with both versions of Native Instruments (3.8 and 3.9)
With the 3.8 version, the music slows down (on its own) and is very laggy for a few seconds and then goes back to normal.
With the 3.9 version, the music stops (on its own) and then comes back.

Make sure to use the performance power plan.
Can you share your audio settings? What driver (asio?), what latency and what sample rate. A single screenshot of
Audio Setup
should be fine.0 -
The only problem with 3.9 should be that displays on several (maybe all) controllers flicker on systems with AMD GPU.
Another long time problem of Traktor in recent versions is there is problem in playing some of Apple formats. 3.9 might fix it to certain extent....

Should be enough.

It should be. I run Traktor 3 on i5 (4C/8T) at about 2 GHz and 16 GB RAM without any problems. The CPU load is about 15-20%.
But there might be some problem with your notebook setup (power plan).
If the problem persists, the best would be to open NI ticket for support.

Billy D, I understand that you are new here, so if i may advice you on what is the appropriate thing to do. You should credit the correct answer to lord-carlos or to Kubrak, or to both. Not to yourself. 🙏
