The old forum is not readable when logged-in

I went to the old reaktor forum to lookup and older conversation and it says "error - You do not have permission to view this page or perform this action."

There are a lot of old question and answer stuff there that I would like to be able to search through, it says that the old forum is a read only library of sorts, which would be great, except that I can't actually get in to read any of it.

Anyone know when this will be corrected?

Yes you need to log out. Btw this is a bug/rights issue that NI needs to fix.

The link @Kubrak shared is redirecting to the Reaktor section of the old forum where threads are accessible, at least on my end.

@Michael O'Hagan, do you mind sharing links with us so we have an idea of which threads you want to access?

The link Kubrak shared is still giving me the same issue...

First I get this page...

Then if I click a link I get this page...

No matter what link I click, it's always this.

Hmmm works just fine over here. Try logging out then back in? Maybe also clear the cookies for the old forum.

Yes you need to log out. Btw this is a bug/rights issue that NI needs to fix.

I'll check when I can and hopefully find out why this is happening. Not an easy task to manage the permission on that forum let me tell you 😅

@Paule Yes, it probably has to do something with the type of user permission you have. There is dozens so it's really difficult to identify all the dependencies.

With that said, it should hopefully work for @Michael O'Hagan now when logged in as well.

Mayhaps it's the different of email addresses? In my case it's the same email in old and new forum, also in U/L
