@AA9 Kontakt 6 is not M1 natively compatible, it can only load in Pro Tools if you put it in Rosetta mode. How to Open Your DAW Using Rosetta
As Kontakt 6 has been discontinued it will never be m1 natively compatible.

Sure. Use the program's Uninstaller!!
Uninstalling a Single NI Product
- Right-click the bottom left-hand corner of your Desktop and choose Programs and Features from the appearing menu.
- In the Programs and Features window, select the program you want to remove and click Uninstall. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

thank you so much.
though I don't see that within native access, is it there somewhere and I have missed it? or would it be somewhere else?

Do as you do with any other program, not through Native Access.
If you are on Windows go to Control Panel / Programs and Features
If you are on MAC do it the way they do it on MAC

macOS should have an uninstaller like Windows does. This is something macOS kind of fails in and likely there is only so much an application can access on the system in terms of deleting files from certain locations, the way Apple have done security is a bit of a mess.
Basically, you simply delete the application from the application folder and then delete your library files wherever you placed them. You can then also venture into the Audio/VST folders and delete the plugins themselves and then done. Not straight forward I agree but once you know where the files are it's a simple process, at least for the most part macOS keeps all files for applications in nice containers.

hey thank you all. yes I have now deleted komplete 13. reinstalled Kontakt 6 but it still does not show in Protools Studio. I have trouble shot all the suggestions I've seen. I want to upgrade to Complete 14 but won't do that until I know that there are no issues. again though, thank you all.

Did you try to "trash Pro Tools preferences." ?
Prior to doing that then please back up files as it says: "Before deleting any of the files as instructed below, copy them into a new folder on your Desktop called “Pro Tools Workspace Backup”. Returning these files back to where they were or replacing a newly created set of preferences will return Pro Tools to its past state."
I found the suggestion over at Sweetwater. You could try to see if it fixes the problem and then decide if you want to go back to past state after that.
Otherwise , here in this forum I have seen NI staff tell user to contact NI support to fix the problem !
