Issue opening Final Cut Pro
I recently upgraded to Komplete 14 standard from 12 standard and now I have issues opening Final Cut Pro. When opening Final Cut it says validating Audio Units and doesn't get past this stage. If I move all the component files from the plug in folder I can open Final Cut again. Any solutions for this that doesn't involve me moving the plug ins each time?

@Zuuti take a look at this thread from yesterday
@Jeremy_NI is already on the issue

If it's anything like Logic there should be an abort button on the validation dialogue. If so abort it, then look in the au plugin manager for which plugins are not validating and try revalidating them one by one till you have identified the plugin or plugins causing this.

No abort button, can only force quit it. Do I have to wait for NI to update plugins to support the latest OS?

Shouldn’t do they all work fine on Ventura for me including in Logic, but it might be something specific to Final Cut

Seems the same as my issue only I haven't uninstalled. I'm on an M1 Mac and in order to open Final Cut Pro I keep having to move the contents of the components folder to a new one before opening then placing them back after. Oddly I have no issues opening Logic Pro it is only when opening Final Cut.

Yes, seems the same issue. That’s why I linked you there. And cause there is somebody from NI officially answering and taking care of the situation 👍🏼

I'd still suggest if Final Cut has a plugin manager like Logic does, trying to abort/force quit the scan and seeing if any of the NI plugins still show up in the manager as having failed the tuscan, then scanning them one by one. I find in Logic plugins that fail the batch scan most often pass the individual scan and any that don't you can then blacklist till they are fixed (or FC is).

I'll close the thread to stream line communication. Please follow the other one: Mac OS 13.3.1 Final Cut Pro freezes on startup during Audio Unit Validation
@Kymeia Unfortunately it seems that the only workaround for this is to momentarily remove the AU files from the component folder...it seems to happen with a lot of plug-ins, not only NI, still not clear on which side it's coming from.
