Help understanding using Traktor the software only with my mixer of choice & X1 MK2's
I am looking to get a standalone mixer with USB inputs (Denon X1850), will this work out of the box with the addition of a couple of Traktor X1 MK2's? Not looking to mapping anything or loosing any functionality, I am not interested in buying the latest and greatest mixer I just need to know what the software requires as like in terms of mixer inputs then I can decide what mixer I want to use. Thanks in Advance

Hello,
this should work with external mixing mode quite well, you can set the decks one x1 contrls, after adding it as control surface, A-B, C-D and so on. But I'm not sure if you can set one for A-C and the other for B-D without mapping.

That should absolutely work. I don't have an X1 MK2 at hand here, but I recall that this combination is offered.

That is correct. Each time X1 MK2 is connected (or Default maping is imported) you see flashing Loop Size display showing you the deck combination. Then turn the encoder to select a different 2-deck layout in offer AB, CD, CA..
