After searching and reading through the manual, I'm asking here, but I may be missing something. Is there any way to create a multi-output instance of Kontakt 7 in Maschine that has MIDI inputs and audio outputs for each of the 16 pads in the group?
Kontakts 7 outputs are automatically available in all the other Pads inputs of the same Group, theres a ton of them...
Depending on the instrument you might need to setup all the MIDI, possibly audio too, read this thread:

Are you asking if you can create a 16 instrument multi, assigned to 16 midi channels with separate outs, or an instance with one or several instruments that can receive 16 midi channels in and 16 stereo outs?
Some instruments have groups set to omni so the instrument can handle more than one midi channel, which is usually indicated in the header 'midi', stated as '1 + Groups. But in Kontakt 7 you can't modify it in edit mode.
Anyway, that's a start.
I should add that I don't know Maschine, but with Kontakt it shouldn't matter what the midi input controller is.
Yes, I'm able to get that set up, but all of the audio still plays on the first pad in the group.
**Edit: I just tried it with the VST3 and it works, not sure why it wasn't working with the native AU on Mac
I'm still not sure how you write automation for the different Kontakt instruments though either.
