Good to know. I did a quick scan before I posted but somehow I did not see it. I will be glad when this matter is resolved. Thank you for the info.

I think it's completely pointless for us to argue with each other. Maybe it's good for the forum -quote: "40000+" users- But, I think we're just arguing here, seriously, we shouldn't be.
There will be and are those who lean more towards NI, there will be and are those who speak their minds. Now, yes, that's why there can be arguments between each other.
I get into them when I'm more tired. Then I find out it was unnecessary.

It's just a single user arguing against multiple software developers what the Definition of a bug is :)
Even after NI confirmed they are working on this. It's quite hilarious.

What if.... there was no blinking at all?
What a wonderfull bug-free world this would be, for everyone.

You claim to be a software developer for 30+ years.
From what you showed in this thread i would stay away from you in any professional capacity, if i was unfortunate enough to be in the same company as you

Pretty interesting that "disabling inline editing" is a workaround / improves this issue
Will do it for sure for me

It is easy, NI just stops displaying that text. It is one second of work. Maybe two.
I haven't noticed that "flickering" till reading this thread and very carefully watching my screen....
Another question is improvement of searching and sorting bigger databases. It may be more work.

It's not a one time thing after a search / sort. It happens every time on certain interactions with the playlist. For example selecting a track or previewing a track. Trying to scroll through a playlist with the hardware rotary knob can be a pain. It also can block for some inputs.
Once again you show that you don't understand this bug. Which is fine, but then you come in here with wild claims and high confidence. "It's 100% a GPU driver bug" "It's not a bug"
That is just bizarre.

If i select Search in title of artits the flashing is shorter. Just 2x and quicker.

I totally agree. Maybe in Traktor Pro 4 by allen-heath.com

Ditto.
The more you speak, the less your credibilty.
Please stop distracting the Devs with incorrect assessments, quick fixes and opinions.

OK, removing window erase and printing text are two, three lines of source code. To remove it takes few seconds. It would stop "flickering". At least the one discussed here and presented in video. Believe me or not, the "flickering" is there just because of it.
Yes it is quick fix, because it is not a bug, but clearly intended behaviour to print the informational text. "Flickering" is just byproduct of this intended behaviour. It is clearly visible from that slown down video. Programmer erases window, prints informational text, clears window and prints re-sorted track list. The more time the sorting takes, the more visible "flickering" is. If sorting takes really long, user is informed that sorting is in the process.

Yes, obviously the flickering is just a byproduct. The re-filtering after example pressing "track preview" is the core bug.
No one wants to remove just the text. Because while filtering also inputs are blocked.
It's not hard to grasp.

Just my 2 cents. I also donβt have flickering on m2 MacBook Air. I did experience some on older 2015 i5 MacBook Pro.
