How to connect and synchronize Traktor S2 MK3 and Maschine MK3?

Hello dear friends !

I am a Maschine MK3 and Komplete M32 user for production.

Yesterday, I acquired a Traktor S2 MK3.

I want to be able to use Traktor S2 and Maschine MK3 together so I can create patterns live while mixing with Maschine.

However, how do you connect them together? Do I have to go through a sound card? And then how to synchronize them? I am new to computer music, and there, unlike NI products, it is not enough to plug them into USB on the Mac because they do not synchronize (BPM, play).

Can you help me? Sorry for my poor English.

Thank you and have a nice day,

Alix

This works if you are running 2.9 or earlier. That is the last version without master BPM drifting.

Also see the images in the article. that is Traktor Pro 1/2.

Ableton link is the way to go these days.

Select "Maschine MK3" from the list of available devices and choose "Maschine MK3 MK3" as the controller type. Click on "Add" to add the device to the list of MIDI controllers.

    4. Choose "Maschine MK3" as the controller type and select "Traktor" as the device target.
    5. Map the MIDI settings for your Maschine MK3 to correspond with the Traktor S2 MK3. You can do this by selecting "Learn" and then pressing the button or moving the fader on the Maschine MK3 that you want to map to the corresponding control on the Traktor S2 MK3.
    6. Once all the MIDI settings are mapped, save your configuration and exit the Controller Manager.
    7. Next, open the Maschine software and navigate to the Preferences menu. Under the "MIDI" tab, select "Maschine MK3" as the Input and Output device.
    8. Ensure that both Traktor and Maschine are set to the same BPM, and then start playing a track in Traktor. The Maschine should now be synchronized with Traktor and the two devices should be working together.

By following these steps, you should be able to connect and synchronize your Traktor S2 MK3 and Maschine MK3 for a more efficient and creative workflow.
