Native Instruments Apple macOS 13 Ventura Compatibility

Then, if the issue still occurs it has not much to do with Ventura compatibility, which is the topic of this thread. I assume you also posted in the Native Access part of the forum.

Are you sure it's related to Ventura? Maschine is compatible. Have you checked this? MASCHINE 2 Does Not Receive an Audio Signal with macOS 10.14 (or higher)

Thanks, already did that, too. I mistakenly responded in this thread to your own post about Native Access 3.1.0 as a solution to the problem with the installation of software 😉

What's the latest on compatibiity? The NI site is vague and incomplete...
I am on a Mac Mini M1. Ventura 13.1 + Rosetta.
MacOs problems. So I am getting back into music. I have recently re-installed my libraries, updated my software and have KK, Ultimate CE Komplete, a A49 Keys and an Audio 6 MK1... I have invested 1000's and love NI stuff... But of course the M1 and Silicon chips /MacOS throws up annoying problems. Including the list below that no longer works in KK... I am sure there are more. It's not all NI's fault, but tired of this. (I don't have the Machine or Tracktor hardware). I use Ableton mainly

@Made In The Hutch A dedicated post would have been better. It's not vague, everything is explained here and regularly updated: Apple Silicon (M1 / M2) Compatibility News
All the products you mentioned will work in Komplete Kontrol or your DAW when in Rosetta mode: How to Open Your DAW Using Rosetta
Battery 4 and Reaktor 6 are not yet M1 native but will work in Rosetta. All of these are Reaktor instruments: Flesh, Form, Kontour, Monark, PolyPlex, etc...
Absynth 5 was discontinued, Super 8 will now only exist as a Reaktor synth. For the NKS partners, I'd recommend checking this article: KOMPLETE KONTROL / MASCHINE Error: "*Product* could not be loaded, as it may not support Apple Silicon or VST2 to VST3 migration."
For Arturia, for example, they only need to update the NKS handling, the plug-ins do work but the presets in Komplete Kontrol still open the VST2 version of their plug-ins.

In terms of plugin compatibility it is growing every day:
Most of the above list are Reaktor products and the Reaktor AS native/VST3 beta comes out in Jan - Battery update is due too. Also bear in mind Arturia and any of those other plugins that don't yet migrate an easy user fix is to save out NKS presets using the VST3 and they then work fine as Sunborn has done here for the Prophet V (or just save your favourites if you must access particular presets).

Thank you so much for the comprehensive answer. Social media can be conflicting... you saved downgrading to Monterey as others convinced me it is Venturer. Anyway I will re-learn some of this as clearly I have misunderstood KK to some degree. The articles you mention should help. Great.

I have ran into a slight issue but I'm not sure if it is Ventura related or not. I'm using Studio Drummer and Abby Road. After closing Garage band and reopening kontakt is unable to see my library. I have to De select the libraries in the settings, point the program to the location of my library (even though the current shown path is correct) and then reselect the libraries. After that they load and work just fine until I restart Garage band.

So it's been a few months since Ventura was released. Are we going to have to wait for all individual plugins to be updated -- Kontakt, FM8, etc.?
Is there any progress report? The next OS will already be around the corner in another few months.

We don't have any timeline regarding the Ventura updates for now, but feel free to keep an eye on our macOS 13 Ventura Compatibility Statement for more information.

UPDATE: I got help and solved some of my problems which turned out to be mainly issues with installation paths between my system drive and an SSD external. But mainly having to run KK in Rosetta Mode. Yes some instruments / VSTs are still waiting for a Venturer update as NI published in the Support Pages. I also had similar issues with the Arturia V Collection Synths and again ensuring KK is in Rosetta running was the solution.

Using Mac Studio Ventura M1 MAX /Logic Pro
There is an annoying issue With Komplete Kontrol Running Logic in M1 Mode:
When recorded a midi. Then for example using Massive in Komplete Kontrol. When you Play the recorded file in the Arrangement. The First Note of That midi file cuts off most times. You can hear it a second and than it dissappears.
When using the Same midi and using massive directly without KK it Works.
So KK has an issue Running as native M1 in Logic. Rosetta works.
But… i bought a m1 Mac to use it native.. hope it gets fixed soon.

Update: Battery 4 is now natively compatible with ARM processors as well as Mac OS Ventura 👇
Head over to your Native Access to do the update!

Great, updated by early 2023 is indeed early 2023. Reaktor is the last hurdle I guess then?
