Come say hello 👋
Wanna say hi? Here’s a meetup spot for newcomers and a virtual wall for you to tag your name and let everyone know you’ve arrived.
While you’re at that, tell us a bit about yourself. How about:
- What are three words you'd use to describe yourself?
- What's the song you can't stop listening to lately?

I'll go first. I'm Kaiwan - one of the Native Instruments team who help run this space. Three words that I'd use to describe myself are Offbeat, Pisces, Twin.
I heard this track last time I went out (RIP clubs) and haven’t been able to stop listening to it since. 🖤
Your turn.

Hello,
im Uwe, and around in native forum a while now. Make myself electronic music from ambient to harder stuff just for myself, maybe to not freak out about the world, the humans and stuff going on, i guess you know what i mean. Music keeps me positive and gives me just a good feeling, i can forget everything around me, just listen to a song or make a loop/idea myself on maschine. I love my maschine studio plus the komplete bundle.
I now stop to spam here and the question was about a song i hear often lately, i hear so much different styles, growing up with more 60ties and 70ties music, cause my father is a beatles fan, over kraftwerk to all kind of electronic stuff.

Hi,
Mutis here trying the new forum and wishing the best for the new year.
I'm getting old and sometimes find myself being not positive but I hope this new community and related news to NI brings exciting tools and joy for music.
I'll try to contribute the best of my and left almost a proud-able legacy for the future.
If you want to check some of my music here's my bandcamp.
Cheers!

Haxor here testing out new platform. I've been using NI products for over a decade now and also I'm trying to hack things around Ableton Live as well.

Hello,
I am Elton, NI products owner and enthusiast.
Just landed on this new community portal and I am amazed already.
I may be known, from the old forum, for the unofficial control surface script for Ableton Live 11 for MASCHINE MIKRO MK3 (and MASCHINE MK3 compatibility).
I wish everyone to have a good time here in the new portal and kudos to the developers and moderators for the great effort on this modern web forum :)
Thank you!

I am a son, husband, father, brother, uncle, friend who enjoys most forms of music. DJ (Traktor) as hobbyist now, no longer playing gigs. Dabble in music production with Maschine and Komplete, enjoys mixing the most.
I have most 1st Gen Maschine and Traktor S4. Contemplating whether to upgrade.
Looking forward to the community. Thanks

Hi,
I´m Jan from Germany and I own a bar. I´m using Traktor since "Traktor DJ Studio" and I am around NI´s forums for years.
I like Traktor´s midi possibilities and I enjoy mapping controllers. I mainly use my Vestax controllers. Both VCI-100 and VCI-400 are the DJTT´s versions.
I hope this new forum will help to improve NI´s communication to its customers and that Traktor will become the best DJ software on the planet, again. 😉

Hello all,
I am David, hobby music producer/DJ and living in Haarlem, but born and raised in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. I am an Maschine MK3 enthusiast because of the workflow and I love the integration in Ableton Live 10/11, and I am waiting for the 1.5.0 release from @Elton Memishaj since I have been trying to make Maschine integrate with Live 11. Also, Maschine as a VST is a winner for me, as well as the standalone version. It has become a lot better, development wise (Arranger, Clips, Hardware etc.) since I bought it.
Also, I started out with Traktor DJ as a beginner DJ.
I also might be upgrading to a newer pc sometime ahead this year, but the NI Instruments and plugins make my workflow massively better and of course, the sounds are top tier in my opinion, no matter what equipment you use!

I am a hobbyist musician/sound designer and some commercial work for Camel Audio and PlugInGuru. Living in the Pacific Northwest. I have still been able to perform live about twice a month, even during the pandemic. It's helped me keep up with learning, programming and expanding my sound library. I recently updated from Komplete to Ultimate and have already started integrating some of it into my sets. I am a big fan of the NI pianos.
I have been working with synths for over 35 years (started with the Ensoniq ESQ-1) and trumpet for several years before that. I used hardware synths for most of that time and switched over to software maybe 5 years ago. I tend to use the KK S61 MK2 most of the time due to its wonderful integration with Ableton Live. The Mixer Screen is my homepage during a live performance. It's super nice being able to name the tracks, know the song order and sometimes I'll even put little chord reminders in the title.
Currently listening to @Uwe303's link to "School" by Supertramp. Ah, good times. Supertramp was a favorite of mine back in the day.

Hello from Rotterdam, The Netherlands!
As a teenager I started mixing music, back then on tape and the good old vinyl. Around the age of 18 I started working as a light jockey in a discotheque / club and with the rise of house music I also started playing more as a DJ. After university I started working professionally as a multimedia designer and developer.
Now, almost 30 years later, these are still the things that make the heart beat faster. In the 'grown up' life (yep, it's a trap!) I am working a change management consultant, but the real fun things I do in Ableton Live with Push 2 and NI Maschine Plus, Kontrol A49, Traktor Pro with Kontrol S4 MK3 and visual things in Apple FCP and Motion.
Right now I'm listening to an all time favorite of mine Groove is in the heart, by Deee-Lite 💫
So far, kind regards,
Maik(R)
