Is a MacBook Air from 2015 ok for Traktor Pro 3 ?
Hello everyone,
I'm thinking about buying a dedicated laptop for Dj sets instead of using my everyday one.
I looked at cheap options and there is some old MacBook Air from 2015. They have an i5 processor and 4 GB ram, which, even if it's not much, seems okay.
But there's only 1.6Ghz processor speed and not 2Ghz required for Traktor Pro 3.
Do you think it can still be okay ? Has anyone tried it ?
Thanks a bunch !

I wouldn’t get it personally as it will barely be ok for Traktor. If 2Ghz is the minimum requirement then…. Plus when stems comes onboard for real time analysis we’re all going to need a i9, M1 or M2. Going to be an expensive upgrade. If you won’t use that feature get yourself a i5 or i7 MacBook Air/pro with at least 2Ghz and at least 8gig of ram.

Thanks man !
I don't think I'll be using much real-time analysis for now. Just the basic functions and effects.
I bought a i5 MacBook Pro with 8go of RAM, I'll be fine !
Thanks again for your insights
