Where Traktor stores hot cues?

Hello, all tracks in my collection marked out with hot cues. This is important for me to jump within a track or know where to start and where to end. Decided to reinstal Windows and Traktor, following instruction from Support section to import previously saved collection (this one - https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/209590429-How-to-Transfer-TRAKTOR-Collections-Playlists-and-Settings-to-Another-Computer).
Does this process restores all my hot cues?

The hotcues are stored in the collection. If you import your saved collection they should all be there.

Ok, i see, but where? In collection.nml file or in some folder, like Stripes or Transients...

They should be in collection.nml. You could open the file with notepad++ or similiar editor and have a look.

Yes!, Thank you, all cues are really in the collection.nml

afaik, they're (also) stored in the TRAKTOR4 metadata field in each file & format [unless you switched all tag writing off].

Would be nice if it could be stored in the files itself. Re-analyzing every time you play a song elsewhere is getting old.

It does the re-analyzis to generate the stripes & collection nml data, but the hotcues are stored in each audio file (in the aforementioned TRAKTOR4 field...)
The downside is that re-analyzing might just mess up your beatmarker/beatgrid... but your hotcues are persistent / per-file...\

Oh yes, you are right. Was confused with the analyzing, that is what I meant.

Hm... where is this option located - switch all tag writing off? As this is really more comfortable.

The section is called 'Tag writing mode':

Yes, this option is on here. Does this mean that i can transfer any music file to another computer with fresh Traktor installed and have all hot cues visible without restoring my collection?

Can't say, i never tried without importing my old collection.

I occasionally flush my Traktor collection completely (i.e. every few years... usually due to Traktor messing up something... but as I have myu playlists/smar playlists/collection managed through an itunes.xml maintained elsewhere, this isn't too painful....).
This mostly works (for Cue Points)... but no guarantee with Traktor...
What it will not remember, and what will cause issues for some, is grid marker/beat grid (as this will be re-analyzed every time on a new track... and if you've worked a bit with any auto analysis results (either in Traktor/Sertato/RB/etc), they are never perfect... and in around 20-60% of tracks, you will need to re-adjust your grid [depending on how quantized your music is to begin with...] - if you want/need cues & grid to be aligned...). So there is a likely possibility / danger of having the cues & beatgrid out of sync (which becomes a problem if you rely on syncing, or want to set new cues...)

ps. another warning: double test tag writing beforehand and do have a backup!!! - as Traktor is still not capable, in fact it seems to have gotten worse again, dealing with diacritics & special characters (and this will bite you if you allow Traktor to write to your files - as it can not handle utf 16 formatting [in file name AND metadata/tags] properly...!) - see: https://community.native-instruments.com/discussion/7704/files-with-accented-characters-in-the-name-are-not-scanned#latest
