No VST2 plugin on m1 - how do I find the Battery settings from a song?
I'm opening an old Ableton file (from 2019) where I used a Battery drum machine. The Battery VST2 "could not be loaded". So some tracks are silent. And when I drop in the AU Battery to the track, it's in a blank state, no kit selected or changes made.
I tried running Ableton in Rosetta, but still, no VST2s.
Since I assume there are no VST2 plugins on my machine, is there a workaround? Can I somehow open some files in text to see what settings I was using?
Any other recommendations?

Yeah, a rescan in rosetta did it, I froze the channels in ableton, so it's good now. Thanks!

You could reinstall battery from Native Access to install the vst2 version. After that Live should see it when running in Rosetta Mode.

Have you done this? I installed battery from Native Access, how do I re-install to add the vst2 version? I'd only do what I did last time, so I'm wondering how that would deliver different results?

Do you see the Battery 4 VST in, MacintoshHD/Library/Audio/Plugins/VST?
If not, reinstalling should put it there again. If it is already there, then the problem can be something else.

Turns out, the VST folder isn't scanned, so there are no VST2s in ableton-rosetta at all. So I'm gonna hold my horses, take long breaths, see if I can figure this out :)
