Is there an API for developers to make things related to Traktor?

Hi.

There's no API afaik, there's many hacks [editing json & qt files...] where people found entry points/loopholes/etc - many making things much more productive - unfortunately they've always been rogue/fending for themselves, and NI has never taken the improvements on, and often the 3rd party tools had a very limited life span [i.e. became abandon ware...] for various reasons.

Mappings / midi controller tools:

There used to be a tool to overcome the shortcomings of NIs own mapping middleware, but I can't remember the name at all [ctrl manager, or somesuch ? ps found it -> https://cmdr-editor.github.io/cmdr/ ]. I thought pestrela has taken over the maintenance, but can't see it in his git pages

Can you give us a sneak peak at what kind of things would be possible to control with that kind of API?

Current played / loaded track for streaming overview would be cool

Right now people use a hack where they "broadcast" to fake server just to extract current master deck track name :)))
