Anyone do mixing/transition tutorials in person?
Hello!
I've been DJing for a long time, but mostly 60s / 70s soul, funk & more recently disco (and occasionally indie too).
I'm an ex-musician. I understand how to mix in key, and the phrasings within a song.
Until recently I’ve kind of gotten away without really needing to mix…but now it’s pretty obvious that it’s letting me down in the technical department…
…and I do like to play some disco which is obviously mix-able, particularly the remixes which sometimes creep over almost to funky house.
I use the S3 with an iPad currently.
Is there anyone in the north west that uses Traktor that might be interested in spending a day or two (paid obviously) running through some transition / mixing techniques?
Thanks

There are a few guys I know from Twitch in that area. What town/city?
It's probably more important to get a good teacher than being Traktor specific.

Manchester.
I’ve got a course from Crossfader which is decent, but it’d be handy to see someone do it in person on the same kit
