Way can't I see Machine SW in Native Access after adding a serial number?

Hi. I bought a Machine Micro MK3 controller that was shown as B-Stock on Reverb. I created an account at native instruments.com, downloaded Native Access for Mac silicon, added my serial number and see it in my account properly. In the Native access library I only see the Kontact/Reaktor Player apps and Controller Editor but nothing relating to Maschine. Why is that? I tried reinstalling Native Access after making sure my serial number was accepted. In the HW services list there should be 2 NI* services but there is only one. I think this is because I did not install the Machine software. I have a MacBook Pro with Apple M2 Pro CPU, Sonoma 14.7 OS. I see where somebody fixed their issue by buying the Maschine 3 SW but I should not have to do that?

Thank you for the responses. To answer the comment about the 2 NI* services, I saw that NIHardwareAgent was running but NIHostIntegrationAgent was missing.

I am connected now. Yesterday I received an email from NII that said:

    Dear Greg,

Thanks for your recent purchase or registration of your new product.

Your included software is now available to download via Native Access – just sign in, and you’ll see it waiting for you.

    YOUR PRODUCTS:

Maschine 2 Essentials Application for MASCHINE MIKRO MK3
    Reaktor Prism for Maschine
    Monark for Maschine
    Massive for Maschine
    Maschine 2 Factory Selection

Please note: If you already have an older version installed, make sure it’s updated to the latest version.

So something happened where they added the products I needed to my account after I registered the serial number of my new Maschine Micro MK3. I'm not sure if that was because of me posting here or just seeing my new account. In either case, it would have been good to know that I needed to wait for some action from NI before trying everything I did to get the SW loaded up. No worries though.

So I did just install everything and rebooted now I have the NIHardwareAgant and NIHostIntegrationAgent service running after startup. I started Maschine 2 Essentials and I'm using the MK3 successfully through that app. Awesome!

Next thing I need to do is integrate this with Logic Pro X 11. From videos I have watched it seems like it should just work.

Thanks for the support folks! Looking forward to getting to know this cool product!

Your description is confusing , you do not tell what second N.I. device is supposed to turn up. But if it is another Maschine device then please see the JesterMgee quote inserted below here.

If anything is missing in Native Access then

first check the MY PRODUCTS, SERIALS, AND DOWNLOADS page to be sure that you actually have the missing product added to your account and then make sure that you are logged into the same account in Native Access.

If product is on account but missing in Native Access then make sure that the missing product is actually compatible with the OS (it will not show in N.A. if not compatible) : Compatibility of Native Instruments Products on macOS

Then be sure to be using latest version of Native Access for your OS

Else then if product is on account but missing in N.A. then try resetting the Native Access XML file , look at section 8 here : My Product is Missing in Native Access

    .

    Quote JesterMgee , 2025-05-26 :

There are limitations on using multiples of the same thing so you can use a Maschine, Jam and KK Keyboard together as each does a different task but you cannot use 2 maschines or 2 komplete kontrol keyboards together since only 1 is programmed to function at a time.

If you connect a second keyboard it will function only as a basic midi keyboard and will not display any actual data from Maschine on the display. Same if you have 2 KK keyboards, 1 will control the KK keyboard (usually the one you don't want to) and the other will just be midi input with no feedback from KK.

That is unlikely to ever change.

Oh yeah, to load the new apps I renamed my .xml file and reopen the NI app and they were all listed and ready for download.
