Advise on remixing songs best learning path
Hello Hello, i took my maschine mk3 from under the dust to give it another go. (QUESTION BELOW)
What i want tot do. I'm a DJ, with traktor.
What i do now is i make the tracks, i bought, longer with loops.
Record it.
then Stem it.
Adjust the tracks with fading in and out of the stem tracks, record it again.
Then add extra loops instruments with remix decks.
Mostly shakers and drums.
And record again to make remixes.
The mastering is off giganticly , and if i make a mistake i have to start over. QUESTION : Can i load a full produced track into Maschine.
Stem it , cut it in loops , adjust the levels how i want and ad loops with maschine ? Or do i need another DAW to do this?
I would love to have the most direct route to what i want to do to minimize the learning curve because of time :)
But i do need to learn maschine also again from scratch i bet?

You could do it - a full track is just a long sample. It might not be the best tool for the job though. The stem separation is NI's first attempt, so you'd probably get better results from a more mature software.
Depending on exactly what track you're importing, you might have issues with tempo variations as Maschine has no warping a la Ableton Live.
