QML Edit to make browser appear on S8/S5 screen when browsing on the X1 MK2/3?
Is there an existing call to insert into the QML files to have the browser load on the S5/S8 screen when using the browse knob on the X1 MK2/MK3?

I cant make those changes to the QML file but wiring the "Browser View" with the "Global MIDI Button" should work. Then just midi map that same midi button on the X1 and that should do the trick.
Sûlherokhh already made something similar possible on my S4 Mk3 mapping for jog fx.1

Check the controller manager mapping assignments. It's just a switch or dial that sends a MIDI signal and does nothing on it's own.

Oh, I got that now. For assigning it to the browser view on the S8, is there a tag that needs to be added to QML?
Unsure of what you mean by wiring the Browser View to it.0
