Maschine 3 license to trade

Hello. I just bought a Maschine 3 license:

My current hardware is a Maschine Micro MK2, and I lost the CD where the serial number was printed, this hardware is second-hand, and I never got my license transfer.

So I just bought this Maschine 3 license a couple of days ago, only to realize my MK2 is incompatible with this software.

To get my Mirco MK2 running I would like to trade this Maschine 3 license for a Maschine 2 license, I don't want to expend anymore, I haven't used my Micro MK2 in years because of this matter, is there anyone who could trade me this please?

    I contacted support to help me, and they said they don't sell Maschine 2 licenses anymore so I should try to get one from the forum. I was hoping they could get down the Maschine 3 and activate my Maschine 2 license but they don't seem to be able to do it.

    @re_code Have you tried to register the device? There should be serials/barcodes on the back of the device, that can be enough to register it.

    Hi Jeremy, the device is already registered. The last time my cousin talked to the guy that sold us the hardware his friend didn't even remember the password of the mail he used, so we failed to transfer the license.


    I was hoping to find the CD with the serial again, but I was tired of it and that's why I bought the Maschine 3 software.

    There should be still a barcode or some numbers under the device. My colleagues can register it and transfer the licence with the help of these.

    To check if N.I. Account Support can help you transfer the device (which should hopefully come with base software added)(?) , then please contact N.I. Account Support with proof of purchase and a picture of the serial on bottom of device and explain the situation

    Hello, yes there's a serial number, and umm no I don't think I have proof of purchase, it was just an instrument sold between friends, I didn't get it from a store. I'm not in contact with my cousin anymore, and the last time we saw his friend they weren't that close anymore.

    Well you can always try to register the device anyway, I think my colleagues would contact the previous owner before unregistering from their account. I would say it's worth a shot.
