More information on future updates M+

Exactly! And maybe they’re planning to do so, but than I was unable to extract that from the communication / quarterly update for Q1.
That’s why I’m plaiting for adding an export option from Maschine 3 on desktop, so the before mentioned ‘project file structure’ is compatible with M+ on the latest version 2.

@Chris_NI is out of office, so I asked the engineering team. Here's what they said:
"The planned release date was March 31st. We've revised this to April 8th in order to accommodate finding a fix for an incidental data loss issue reported by beta, specific to certain SD cards"

If that’s the outcome of the RCA, then please provide / update the information on compatible and non-compatible SD-cards.

Please take this conversation to the beta forum. This is not a bug affecting end users yet, and by the time we've fixed it, nor should it. Investigations are ongoing, and I'm not on that team.
Incidentally, another example of why closed beta is advisable vs public beta.

Just responding to your post. This info wasn’t on beta forum yet. So yes, will continue it there.

Ah, fair enough. I thought it was. I'll ask the team to inform the group. My bad.

Hey @Matthew_NI I sent you and the team a message regarding a small issue im having accessing the beta forums, any help would be great.
Thanks in advance!

I signed up for the beta, but didn't get in cause they know I wouldn't let them get away with screwing anything up. :P I guess I gotta sit tight and wait until the official release to grill them.

I don’t think that’s why they didn’t let you in… ;)

This is news to me. I am running latest macOS Sequoia on two different Apple silicon macs (M1 & M4), both run Maschine 2 without problems AFAIK.. I personally plan on using Maschine 2 at least for the next year or two, as it is highly likely that Maschine 3 will be as buggy on the + as it is on the desktop

It’s not officially supported, nor is the Maschine hardware:
And yes, I totally agree with you on a planned migration here. Especially on the M+ side of things.

"It’s not officially supported"
Ah now that's quite a bit different to "it's not compatible" which implies that it doesn't work.
Updated my earlier post to reflect this.
-2 -
“unsupported“ on an official page titled „compatibility statement“ means anything from „we haven’t tested that“ to „we don’t expect that to work“ to „you can’t use it, whatever you do“.

Well, user content of Reaktor and Kontakt are not "officially supported" by M+ standalone either..
So I'll keep on takin' my chances I suppose

8th April is SOON ;) Fingers crossed that will be final date of the update.
