HI,

when we will get a TRAKTOR PRO 4 - Feature Roadmap?

While Rekordbox, Virtual Dj und even Serato have new Features an Updates regularly - there seem to be a STOP in Traktor … User paid for V4 und since this time not really "new" happens …

I love Traktor for the last years but when I see there is no Future for that - i have to change … i think many other user have that feeling …. it ist not transparent, there are not enough Informations / announcements …

Especially I have the big hope of an new S8 oder something like that where i can user my old D2 as Add-On but with JogWheels und separate option to use 1 or 2 Microphone direct without blocking a Channel …Is there any hope … who knows …

    As so much users give the same sign, you can't ignore. So... wait...until new announcement. In the meantime , they give you enough time to switch :-)

    I don‘t expect a S8 Mk2. What it made special was that it has no jogs. If you want something like a s8 with jogs: It is called S4 Mk3. Of course it is missing much feature of S8: A device combining all S8 features with jogs would a really large one.

    If S8 and D2 (and their different concept) had been a large success they would still sell them or their Mk2 follow ups. I pretty much like my D2s as add-on for my Technics 1210s (which pretty are much my jogs with Traktor Scratch)

    But I like the idea of modular controllers. A Traktor D1 or D3 which would pretty much the deck part and FX controls of a S4 Mk3 would be really neat. And a Traktor Z4 which would be effectively the mixer and audio interface part of S4 Mk3 would be welcome too. And also great would be a successor to Traktor Audio 10. No one has a DVS interface supporting more than 3 decks anymore and there are so many interesting mixers without integrated interfaces I would love to try.

    Would love to see some additions in Traktor Pro 4 too:

    • uneven loop-options (e.g. 3 beat, 5 beat or 6 beat-loops)
    • Quicker Stem-separation and/or higher quality would be welcome - real-time separation without preparation would be a dream but isn‘t a must have too me
    • And a better much more seamless integration of Maschine would be great, too.

    But I think NI should work on bug fixing first and with priority.


    But to be honest: I am not missing much with Traktor currently. And where I really miss something most competitors also don‘t offer a solution. Or I had to change effectively my complete gear except for my MacBook and my 1210s.

    Without proper remix deck functionality Traktor is basically the same as or even a step down from Rekordbox.....they've had these bugs for close to 8 months with zero communication on when they'll be fixed. This is what we get when we pay to "upgrade" to TP4.

    I'd like to see compatibility for Snapdragon and ARM CPUs going forward as well.

    How's about news regarding the Traktor Kontrol S3 that alot of users are complaining about, no further replies or feedback on that subject
