The Maschine (!) was in the Superbowl LIX anthem performance!

I nearly spat out my drink when I saw it and I saw it from the back and instantly knew it was the M+.

I will say it’s interesting that of all the hardware he could have had up there, he’s using the M+ which as all of you know doesn’t get the proper amount of attention and investment from NI that it deserves. He wasn’t using a Komplete controller or play series instruments, he was using the Maschine+ and had it as the center piece during a half-time performance with millions of viewers. NI seriously needs to rethink its priorities.

If you look at the whole performance, you can see the white cables seem to go under the piano lid (the lid is raised a little with some spacers) and there is also at least one black box under the piano with wires and lots of white tape.

Unlike one Camila Cabello live performance where she "played" a synth that didn't even have a power cable plugged in. 🤣

I didn't go frame by frame. I just watched it through. 🤔

I wonder if we'll get a superbowl expansion pack soon (SOON). Maybe a new superbowl M+ colorway.

We've sampled the piano used during the superbowl and proudly offer it as an instrument for the Akai MPC Live 2 family of devices.
