Numark 4Trak & Traktor 4

in Mapping Traktor

hey, i finally updated to Traktor 4 and i need controller mapping for a Numark 4Trak. i have been given a link on Facebook months ago but i have lost that notification. Any help would be appreciated as i dont want to have to replace my perfectly working 12 year onld controller

    If you updated form Traktor Pro 3: Just take the old mapping it should still work in TP4.

    I upgraded from 2, i have the mapping for that but it wont register on 4

    These links are supposed to have the map for Traktor 4. Let me know if it works for you, I can't get it to work for me. There are a couple of threads mentioning issues/trouble with the 4TRAK (including the two referenced earlier in the thread) but I haven't found a solution yet.

    I exported the mapping file from TP3 - see attached file. Let us know if that helps in any way.

    When I import via Preferences > Import its as if nothing happened. When I add via Preferences > Controller Manager > Device Setup > Add > Import from disk the device is changed to none and everything else in that page (Assignment Table, Device Mapping, etc) is removed/not visible.

    I'll be unable to test for a week and a half or so, but any further help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks for the help so far.

    Tried that zip, nothing. still doesn't recognize anything, wants to use the 2 keyboard shortcuts

    That sucks. Your best bet is contacting NI Support about this issue.

    Hopefully they are not limiting hardware support like AT… I figured my DDJ-200 and FLX4 are no longer working with RB7. Not an old hardware at all…

    Has anyone figured this out with Numark-4Trak controller and the new Traktor Pro 4. I am having the same issue as RADBRAD mentioned above. I tried all the links above and been through all steps as well and nada works. As a last resort I also went to the Traktor 2 software Exported my .to file onto desktop, then opened up Traktor 4 Preference under Device setup hit the Add and chose Import from Disk drop down option chose the desktop .tsi file and nothing happens.

    On another note in Preferences I don't have an option to use the Setup Wizard. See screenshot and you only see Reset Settings to Default on the button. Help Help Help

    In that thread I left a comment; support is aware of the issue and is working on it.

    "This is a known bug that should be solved in a future release of TP4. This is the bug ID: TP-18975"

    No idea on a timeline. Its frustrating that I paid to upgrade to 4 from 3 because the 4TRAK was listed as Traktor 4 ready per the "Third-Party Traktor Ready Controllers with Enhanced Traktor Integration" article. I guess I can't post links yet.
