    Update: S4MK3 & S3: Community Performance MOD

    • New version for S3. Feature list was too long for a single post, so i put it in a downloadable text file on page 1.
    • Updated version for S4MK3 TP 4.1.1.
    • Now completely compatible again with X1MK3 Community Performance Mod regarding the overmapping compatibility. No conflicts anymore with the use of SamplePageSelector for overlay selection and gridmarker hopping.

    EDIT: I would be happy if someone would send me their collection.nml file to test.
    I would be interested to know whether my script can also handle collection.nml files other than just mine

    Today I tested this with a 116Mb file with around ~87,000 entries and it worked except for this.

    I've been playing with a new implementation of VinylBreak (No SHIFT, just hold down for longer than 150ms, with variable length depending on time held down and jog tension). You can read about the devolopment here (and the posts after this one):

    Update:

    VinylBreak - Hold PLAY for more than 150ms. The longer the hold, the longer the break. High Jogwheel tension will keep it shorter. Short tap will not activate VinylBreak. LED feedback when holding or breaking.

    Test away. Do you like it?

    I see. Track colour was a problem with qml module that interacts with the LED. Actually it's news to me that the colour RED was used at all. I'll do some testing on this and see how i can improve on the code. I may use a different colour. Deck colour doesn't work anymore without disrupting the storing of deck states when switching decks due to the custom deck colours i introduced.

    I've improved a few things to make everything run faster. I also converted the playlists with the keys into a JSON. This means that the delivery of the lists has become faster and the converted lists are now saved until the program is closed.

    Phew, I'm getting old.😮
    I don't feel like I'm 41 yet😂

    UPDATE: S4MK3 Community Performance Mod Version 8:

    Deck Transport Features:

    • Play (Hold >0.2sec): Activate Vinyl Break, the length of which is proportional to the time holding down the PLAY button, shortened by the jog wheel's haptic tension. Vinyl Break will automatically deactivate Sync to work correctly.

    I've been happily using Aleix's 'Supreme Edition MOD' on TP.3.4.2, adjusted to my preferences of course.

    You can read up on it HERE, but it's not up to date. Reapplying my modifications every few versions was to much work. But the original is awesome all on it's own.

    If i should ever make a qml mod for D2/S5/S8, i'll open up a new MOD thread.

    @Sûlherokhh: Can you please tell me what file types these are (Coverart)?
    Luckily, I once created a script that can extract the images from MP3 files.
    What a hassle.

    Dude. Look for them and check, inside audiofile (you already extracted), internet, in the Traktor subfolder 'covers'… ;-D
