About the modifiers...

I am trying to do a custom mapping on my X1 MK2. I think what I am trying to achieve is quite simple, but for some reason I am running into an issue.

The project :
I would like the right side of the FX rack to have two different states.
First state would be the original one, controlling the Pattern Player and the second state would control different aspects of the Mixer Unit, such as the Gain Adjust, the Mixer FX Adjust, etc…

I've created my modifier, and would like to use the Shift or Flux button. It all seems to work well, until I want to get back the state 0. Once I've pressed the Shift button, it will control the new state but I can never go back to the original state.

Is there something I am missing? I have shared screenshots to potentially help you guys spot a mistake I've made.
