new sounds are not exciting.

we want fixes and new features, we already have more sounds than we will ever use.,

we were sold the kontrol mk3 because of the integration. come on man, were not buying it lol

I purchased the Komplete 15 Collectors Edition. If we have made such a financial investment, do we get the MPC versions of the already purchased Play Series? Do we get the initial MPC Play Series free or half off on them?

With NKS potentially spreading much further and wider, I wonder if we'll finally get software that offers a much simpler way to NKS-ify non-standardised plugs, libraries and effects.

Yeah one of my first MIDI keyboards was the original Novation 37-key one with Automap. Was great for when we used to go on vacation in log cabins, the extra keys over a 25 make a huge difference.

I guess if they done that, it would undermine partnership deals that they have with third parties. As why would anyone go through NI if they can just do it themselves?

From a users perspective it seems a real no brainer, sadly. :(

Something from a few years ago (Preset magician) exists. I'm thinking about a bit more than that. I'd go into details, but I actuallly want to speak to NI about it first.

Looks like the NI staff doesn't know why users are upset:

Imagine you spend money (in my case around 1500$) in their ecosystem by buying software and hardware.

And now you realize your hardware is becoming useless or worse you bought your extra NI keyboard for nothing because now you can use another keyboard to control your software. On top, if you are an MPC user but you already bought everything: you need to buy it again.

To not understand why people are angry is sad.

Truth be told: I own an Oxygen Pro 49 (which makes me hyped about the next update) but I also own an A49 (which makes me feel like I wasted my money by buying one).

Though I will invest in NI plugins, I won't ever invest in their hardware again (and I've planned to). And if only a fraction of users feel the same, then NI just murdered their hardware division, which is sad😔

@Niels_Nektar Is Nektar integration likely to include the CS12 at some point? I know it's not got keys and stuff, but it'd be an awesome controller, especially if you can add the NKS parameter information on the display!

MPC supports the sound source of the machine. This is what we don't want to see. We have always supported the machine, but we just need some things that MPC doesn't have. If these have been extended to MPC, then the machine will lose many die-hard fans.

I understand the separation of this announcement and think it’s a great idea that native instruments products will work on other platforms, it does make sense. Is NI still in the hardware Business? Will we see new hardware at some point I understand you can’t give any details. I think it would set users at ease.
