Be sure to have sufficient access privileges on the OS.
If on Windows then try uninstalling both the Native Access and the NTKDaemon then use the reg tool to remove any remnants of both of them. Ref. : Fixing Software Update Installation Issues (Windows)
Then Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files
Then check the Allow an app to access controlled folders
Then check the block third-party app installations in Windows 11/10 (for how to unblock)
Then try installing latest version of Native Access for your OS

Thank you for your reply! However, I have not yet gotten this fixed :(

"Setup resource decompression failure" means that the installer was unable to write to Windows' TEMP folder. This can happen due to…
- insufficient disk space
- user permissions not having sufficient rights to extract temporary files to that folder
- anti-virus app acting up
Have you, for starters, tried running the installer as administrator (right-click on the installer exe > Run as administrator)?

Yes I did try with Run as an administrator and I have free space on 600GB C driver and 1TB on D Driver.
I also turned off the anti virus app.

If you have sufficient drive space and have turned off the antivirus then while you are an Administrator on the OS then as far as I can see then you are having some kind of access problem here. Else then your Windows could be configured wrong (e.g. with missing folders) or configured (e.g. using naming convention) in a way not compatible with the installer (I noticed non-English language on your picture and I do not know how Windows is configured on your language)
First uninstall both the Native Access and the NTKDaemon, then use the reg tool to remove any remnants of both of them. Ref. : Fixing Software Update Installation Issues (Windows)
Then download latest version of Native Access for your OS but do not install it yet.
Then reboot computer
Then after a fresh reboot then enable build in admin account and check if that helps.
Follow these steps and check if that helps.
First you’ll need to open a command prompt in administrator mode by right-clicking and choosing “Run as administrator”.
Now type the following command:
net user administrator /active:yes
Then try installing the already downloaded latest version of Native Access for your OS
If that fails then download the N.A. installer and then try starting Windows in safe mode and then enable the build in admin account as instructed above and the run the installer
All the above is not necessary for installing Native Access on any normal Windows installation where you are logged in as an admin but as far as I can tell then the error that you are experiencing with the N.A. installer is one where you do not have sufficient access to the Temp folder on Windows. So you are well advised to check for both virus and malware as well as any other Windows problems. Also you need access to other standard Windows folder e.g. C:\Users\Public\Documents\Native Instruments
Instead of the above procedure with enabling built in Admin account then you can also try to TakeOwn of the Windows %temp% folder to see if that helps and then run the N.A. installer..

If I have to do all these crazy steps, then the installer is a very ****** installer. How come any other software can install on first attempt without any problem and with Native Instruments every update means potentially having to reinstall everything?
