How to Hold the Beat Jump Button for Continuous Beat Jump in Traktor Pro 4 with X1mk3

Hi everyone,

I'm using the Native Instruments X1 MK3 controller with Traktor Pro 4, and I want to set up the Beat Jump function so that when I hold the Beat Jump button (e.g., the left arrow key), it keeps jumping continuously backward in the track without needing to press the button repeatedly.

Currently, when I hold the button, it only jumps once, and I have to press it again to repeat the action. Is there a way to configure the button to work in a "hold-to-repeat" mode for continuous Beat Jump?

If this requires custom MIDI mapping or third-party tools, I’d appreciate any detailed guidance or resources to help me set it up.

Thanks in advance for your help!

As long as you haven't set a loop you can use SHIFT+LOOP ENCODER (turn) to beatjump with a size that is equal to the LOOP SIZE on the screen. You can comfortably scroll through the track this way.

but is there a possibility to do that with a button that i keep holding, i don't want to do that with turning the knob und always skipping the size of the loop.
I had to old mk1 and they i could just hold the button down and it would keep jumping 1 beat till i let it go

Move command with direct Inc/Dec (autorepeat checked) should work.

Then other two commands from the same many cen determine the size of the loop.

Search for "Loop Move Macros" on DJ TechTools.

This. Although the increment, decrement assignment used will have a small hiccup, meaning it will trigger once, wait a moment, then trigger 2nd and further times regularly like this: jump, pause, jump, jump, jump, …

It not as precise as when using the encoder.

Not sure what you're talking about. I never had an issue with that. Maybe the qml editing is causing it?
