I think the .mid files for nord lead 2x rom banks 4-9 are the sound cards 1-4. For example Library 1 Bank 3 seems to be nord 2x rom bank 4. I'll try it, see what you think…

I have a load of banks, but only 4 factory banks and 1 factory performance bank.

I am happy to do some tagging if there is a comprehensive category list. Gonna be a couple of days before I have some free time though.

Just a side note that the Main Panel on the template has the first two controls missing on purpose as I hoped a master volume and bypass may be added at some point (wishful thinking maybe). This was to avoid having to rejig the parameter slots later down.

One issue with tagging is that the tags in the plugin only show the number of the preset. So you have to look up the name, at least if you want the same tags indicated in the plugin browser. Here is Bank 4, it seems to be what I indicated, but please check it out before I do the other five banks and performances.

Yeah, on second thought it would probably be better just to do some general tagging based on the preset names, which seems more realistic. They seem to be highlighted quite well so shouldn't take too many categories outside the regular types.
Yep. Bank 4 works sweet for me. Just haven't quite worked out what corresponding banks they relate to. All systems go though.

Banks 4-9 seems to be the libraries of the Sound Cards that are available on the nord website. Best to look at the manual for this info, I wasn't keeping track, sorry. Here is Bank 5 (I think):

One note about bank naming.
Now you are doing the Nord Lead 2x but there are actually 3 synths with compatible sounds!
Nord Lead, Nord Lead 2 and Nord Lead 2x all with unique sounds (and some duplicates of course).
So, if we are going for all, we will need eventually, 3 major banks and a lot-lot of sub banks.
Tomorrow i will upload a complete pack with each synth in its own folder, each bank in its own etc etc. together with full name lists (no numbers), all manuals and whatever else needed. I am stuck right now mostly because i can't find the rest of the banks of 2x (5-9), only 0-4 and 1 performance

The sound cards libraries I've been using are at the link below (and I used DDP presets to determine which ones to use based on name matching). There are about 12 banks plus more performances, I am just using the ones that I have patch names for from the manual. Here also are banks 6 and 7.

Here are Banks 8 and 9. If anyone can figure out where to get the performance bank 1 (the second bank or rom), that would be nice. It has a bunch of Prophet 5 recreations and the Nord Lead 2 programs in it. I checked all the sound card banks, and I don't think it is any of those, but perhaps I am wrong or maybe it is a composite from a few of those banks.
I've looked in wayback, but still can't find that second performance bank:1 -
Just curious what software are you guys using to convert these User sounds so fast ?
I'm saving patches manually one at a time lol
