How do I fix "Download failed: Review your download location" error in Kontakt 8
I recently got Kontakt 8, I have everything installed and haven't messed with folder locations at all. I tried downloading the Applications but it always fails and tells me "Invalid Location" for the download. Just to experiment, I changed the Downloads Folder to a bunch of different places on my computer and it still doesn't work. I've been all over forum pages and found nothing about this issue. How can I fix this? (or bypass it somehow)

Hello Elusive06, In order to get NA to download the full installer we have to remove the affected products first.
PC:
- Apply the following steps to the affected products: Fixing Software Update Installation Issues (Windows)
- Restart PC and open NA
- Install the product(s) from the available section
- NA should download and run the full installer of the latest available version now
Mac:
- Navigate to the following location: Macintosh HD > Library > Preferences >
- delete the following file of the affected product: com.native-instruments.product name.plist
- restart your computer and open NA
- Install the product(s) from the available section
- NA should download and run the full installer of the latest available version now

The file doesn't exist to delete.
The latest NA update changed my locations settings, but even with them corrected, it doesn't work.
It would be a really great feature to not have to consult support 2/3 times we try to install anything these days!
Edit: Nevermind, it just randomly started working after I tried installing a different product.1
