I'm having issues with my VSTs opening, but not being the complete GUI. I've had partial GUI and no way of resizing.
I think i solved my issue. Windows display settings were set to 125%.
So right click desktop > display settings > scale & layout > scale = 100%
All seem to work fine now with 100. Not sure why it was 125%. Will post if i do find genuine vst issues when i get to trying them all 😉😇
Thanks. I'm new to this forum.
I think this is great. This thread was my 1st post.
I've read some others, but never posted.
Now I'm hooked. Thanks again everyone.
On Windows 11 right-click on Maschine 3 icon > Properties > Compatibility Tab > Change high DPI settings > Check High DPI scaling override make sure the drop-down box is set to Application.
Thanks… But…
My settings was already set to that.
I appreciate the effort. I am open to trying almost anything.
If there is there anything else you can think of, I would gladly accept and try.
And does anyone with an official account know if NI is aware of this issue and is actively trying to find a solution?
Thanks for the suggestions.
I got the same problems.
Most of my vsts are in a zoomed in mode after I start it within Maschine 3 Standalone - Windows 10
so it's unfortunately unusable
Haha, March 2025, update released, problem not fixed.
NI doesn't actively solve anything. Their philosophy is bad. It's a well-known fact.
If NI cared about customer relations as much as their profit margins you would think they could easily employ a couple more people to work solely on this and other long standing and often talked about issues. Instead we keep hearing statements like they "should" be fixed "soon" and they never get addressed. It has become a bit of a meme.
I have this problem too with ozone 11, meldaproductions plugins and waveObserver
I really need my computer scaling at 125 so this is not a solution for me
This is not just Windows scaling related, Maschine 3 seems to have cross platform problems rendering some plugins correctly - Reason rack and Serum 2 for example
This might solve your issue better : https://community.native-instruments.com/discussion/44000/found-a-fix-for-issues-with-vst-gui-scale-in-maschine-3-windows-only/p1?new=1
The only reliable solution for HiDPI monitors, which works even if you keep your current scaling settings in Windows (e.g., 150%), is to adjust the display compatibility settings for the Maschine 3.exe file. User DARK ∃N∃RGY has already shared a link addressing the same issue – I’m just describing it in more detail:
Steps:
I hope this helps until Native Instruments releases a fix.
Unfortunately there seems to be several graphic issues. Serum is one, Reason is another and there are others that only happen on Windows with certain display settings. Trying to get more info on the topic.
Thank you.
I use Maschine as a stand alone.
Is there any info gathering on that?
I’ve also had GUI issues in Maschine 3, a Reaktor Blocks Rack gui will not show up and Soundtoys Effect Rack appears offscreen. Emailed a zip containing the rack and a screenshot of the issue to NI at the weekend and I’ve not heard anything.
Don't want to be one of the "me too" posters, but yeah. Scaling issues with Fabfilter on macOS (latest one) as well since version 3 and with latest version it got worse. Windows don't go in or out of fullscreen mode, are not scalable, or their GUI is unresponsive, even if they are running in the background.
