Problem with Remix Deck
Hi everyone,
Here I am again, experiencing issues with the Remix Deck… My samples do not want to sync once dropped onto the Remix Deck and I do not understand why. I've tried everything, making the loops longer to help the beatgrid, type in the BPM manually, import the loops into the Track Deck first to beatgrid perfectly, but as soon as I drop it into the Remix Deck, it just gets messy. I have a F1, but it's making me reconsider my purchase and I am seriously thinking of selling it because I'm always having problems with Traktor's Remix Deck.
It's also the same problem with loops I have dowloaded from different sources, all good in Track Deck but completely off-sync in Remix Deck…
If anyone has had this kind of issue or has any lead I could explore to resolve it, that would be fantastic.
Thank you,
Simon.

Advanced deck layout offers additional controls for individual samples. The F1 also has a lot of menus to control those. Using those, make sure that your individual sample cells have cell sync enabled, make sure the remix set has a bpm close to what your set is going to have. Check the sample beatgrid, which can also be adjusted.

Yes, I've done all of that, I've adjusted the beatgrid manually on some samples on the Track Deck then imported it onto the Remix Deck, and while it worked for some of them, for the majority of the samples they're just completely off beat. I've even played the same sample on a Track Deck and on a Remix Deck and still the same problem.
Not sure what to do here :(0 -
Make sure the DECK is in SYNC and you use the type BEATSYNC instead of TEMPOSYNC. Also, every sample has it's own BPM, which should be close to the BPM of the REMIXSET.
Can you please make a screenshot of the Traktor GUI with the advanced layout of the remix deck visible and with the buggy sample having been triggered with the mouse and playing? That way i can have a look at all the relevant settings at once.

I changed the type from TEMPOSYNC to BEATSYNC but it doesn't seem to have any impact on the samples.
I have attached a screenshot, but I'm not sure that's what you want exactly so please let me know if you need to see other options from my Traktor. On the Track Deck, the sample is perfectly synced, but not on the Remix Deck.

Thanks for the picture.
question: did you click on the red loop symbol of the bottom remix deck? i imagine it is that snare roll sample in slot 1 that is going wrong. Is it out of tempo or out of phase or both?
Set the quantize value from 4 to 1 and test again if it's a phase problem only.

I changed the Quantize value from 4 to 1 but the problem remains, sample is still out of beat.

I can see that the sample is not starting where it should, there is like a small empty space at the beginning, whereas if I import the one I edited on the Track Deck, the blank space is not there anymore and therefore it is in sync.

Use offset and/or nudge to solve this issue. On screen you see the manual page for offset; nudge is on the next page.

The nudge setting seems to work in order to get rid of that blank at the beginning of the sample, but still can't understand why that blank is created when imported in Traktor… It's quite annoying having to manually re-edit all your samples.
