Change Group Banks in the Pad Mode Menu

I can't access the next group page by pressing the shift button when in pad mode on maschine mk3
I don't see any benefit in this, so I would like to be able to access the next group page by pressing the shift button even in pad mode.

Not sure what "next group page" means. Are you talking about switching from groups A1-H1 to groups A2-H2?

You can do it in KEYBOARD mode and CHORDS mode and STEP mode

Canot be done in PAD mode

Confirmed. It’s really odd. In PAD mode, you can only switch Group banks with Buttons 3 and 4.

Sorry if this sounds like semantics but technically it can be done in Pad Mode; it cannot be done in the Pad Mode Menu.

The reason is probably due to holding Shift being used for a momentary Menu to move Pads/Groups around, KEYBOARD, CHORDS and STEP menus don't have a Shift option, hence they work.

Sacrificing Group Bank selection to allow moving was a bad call, at least done this way, mainly because Pad Mode Menu is the only menu where we can see all Group/Pad names, very useful live especially on an M+ where theres not huge screen to see what's what.

I forgot about buttons 3 and 4.

One of the problems was that duplicate could not be moved using the shift button.

I was able to do it by using buttons 3 and 4.
