Scratch in Sync...
In other DJ softwares, if sync is on, you can scratch, and when you release the jog wheel the song will procede in sync.
I can't replicate this in Traktor
Any thoughts?

I can't remember it not working with sync on, using NI controllers. What are you scratching on?

I've tried it with pioneer CDJs in HID mode: 3000, 2000 and event the XDJ1000.
Every time you scratch, even if the sync is on, it looses sync when you release the plate

Are you talking about tempo sync or beat sync?

If you think about getting is sync with other tracks then flux mode will do as long as you are using a controller.

Yeah, this sounds like flux mode.

No.. flux mode will let the track continue with no interference after you let go of the plate. so when you drop the plate the song will be ahead where it would be if you didnt scratch it.
I want the song to continue from where I let it go on the song, but in sync. like Serato or Rekordbox does.
If i'm sctraching and playing with the starting word of a song, i want it to continue from there when I let it go. and NOT way ahead in the song

Jog touch = Sync OFF
Jog release = Sync ON
Maybe mapping those to the jog wheel. But yeah it sounds different than how you would expect jog to work in Traktor. Is that default option or just a mode you ncan configure?0
