The chat bot facility is not working and I need to raise a ticket. Since I cannot pass through the chat bot, I cannot raise the ticket. Any other ways through this?

Hey @academyofrock Since you had already an open ticket from Sept 25th your chat endded up in the email conversation already opened. You hadn't got back to us with the result of the support tool. Please run it and send us the result. My colleague will get back to you anyway.

Hello there, I no longer had the e-mail so I was unable to answer, but I'm afraid that nothing has improved on the Expression pedal issue. If you can send me an e-mail to peter@humdyn.co.uk I will update with some video information. I'm pleased to say that the minor problem of missing icons in Kontakt has resolved itself.

I have been through all the articles on this topic, but no settings are incorrect.

    All the best

    Peter

I'm not sure how helpful this is to know but I just noticed this:

Whatever I do on the Expression pedal it will only control the tone knob on a piano plugin such as The Gentleman. and then only if I have the standalone version of Komplete Kontrol set to Pedal B on Cont. If I do that, the Sustain pedal then does not function.

And finally, the EXP pedal is working as it shows up in Logic Control Bar and operates 0-127 when moved.

That would indicate there's an unwanted MIDI assignment on the keyboard. Since it's a mk2 keyboard, please open the Komplete Kontrol standalone application with the keyboard connected:

Make sure there isn't any MIDI assignment for CC11 in all knobs, keys and other pedals, this would interfere with the expression pedal. YOu can also create a new template it will reset everything to default.

Now do the same with the keyboard disconnected:

If there are any MIDI assignments remove them by clicking the little x up there.

    Does thatr fix the issue?

I also see that you're in contact again with my colleagues.

There were no odd MIDI assignments. Once I disconnected the keyboard I could not see anything I could alter.

So, I set up a new template, changed the touchstrip MIDI from 11 to 1 since EXP pedal is also supposed to be 11.

The Sustain pedal operates the tone knob in any plugin such as Maverick. The EXP pedal does not work and the tone knob is constantly wavering.

If I go back to KK standalone and click Pedal A, the wavering stops on the tone knob and the Sustain pedal operates the tone knob. As soon as I switch to pedal B in standalone, the Sustain pedal stops working and switches back to controlling the tone knob on Maverick. I can then also click MIDI cc learn and make the EXP pedal control the tone knob, but not the volume. So when Pedal B is selected in KK Standalone, neither pedal works as it should.

    Does that help?

Additionally, I tried the NI support tool but it would not open once unzipped.

So, in NI Pianos and so on, the EXP pedal works but is 'stuck' on the tone knob. In GR7 I cannot get it to control anything like a wah pedal.

If you're on mac you just need to right click and choose open.
