Help with Kontakt 8 loading issue
When attempting to start up kontakt 8 I get the following:
'The code execution cannot proceed because MFReadWrite.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.'
If I click OK then I get the same message repeated several times with a different file names in place of 'MFReadWrite.dll'. The same also occurs with kontakt 7.
I have gone through the windows troubleshooting steps on the site and tried reinstalling to no avail. I am a novice in the world of music production so assume my jargon knowledge to be faily limited. Please help me.

What OS are you running?
Have seen this error in my travels if a Windows “N” version is in use.
This version of Windows does not have specific media components installed by default.

That may be it, I do have an N version of windows 10

Hello, I need your help to install Kontakt 8, I have a "failed" message at the end of my download, my operating system is Windows 11 Home version 23H2. I was able to install Kontakt 7 but version 8 is causing me problems. Can you help me please? You will find a copy of the installation settings that I adapted from your video available on this subject. Kind regards

I have installed the media feature pack and reinstalled kontakt but this has not fixed the issue, have you had any success with windows n versions in the past?

Have never used an "N" version - just have heard of this issue with that version.
Best to ensure that actual .dll file is present on the machine.
Installing the Media Pack may not solve this.
