yeah, you are right. Compatibility doesn’t really mean they will upgrade the Maschine+.

I would be very happy with the kernel update that is supposed to fix the class compliant audio interfaces compatibility, and hopefully they will also double the inputs to at least 16. I am waiting for this get a new audio interface (possibly eurorack) and be able to apply effects to individual outputs from the drumbrute.

I personally keep expectations very low regarding this company… hence the 🤞 emoji

it almost looks to me that Kontakt will be the new Maschine. Just add a mixer and a sequencer and you’re there ;)

I can't wait for the Maschine 3 update, but honestly, all i'm looking for is some visual improvements and feedback to the GUI's for plugins, although I appreciate having the likes of Maschine in a standalone unit, NI really should have been better at how this would be represented on those two small displays, especially given the large amount of parameters. I'd also like to see them bring back a better file menu, to navigate sample folders alot better, even though I've now structured my samples to suit Maschine+.
Maschine has all you need to create great tracks, theres something to be said for it's streamlined workflow and providing the right amount of tools to get the job done, although letting us use our Reaktor ensembles and older Kontakt instruments like Evolve Mutations would be appreciated.

I recently put Ableton 12 suite up for sale because really there is just way too much in there, great for folk that want it all and then some, but for me I found there was too many tools to distract me, I wouldn't want Maschine to drift too far from where it's at, it's a focussed groovebox, not a DAW, don't cram unnecessary ****** into it just to compete with the others.
