    @MaikR suggested

    Then again, we are still waiting for the other updates, including the kernel. So hopefully the long delay is due to including an updated App version 3.0

    I sincerely hope we will not have to wait for 3.0 to arrive on the M+ to receive feature/version parity with Maschine app on the desktop! We‘d probably have to wait for another year after the 3.0 release.

    It definitely is beyond me, why the M+ update currently in the works (for 10 months) is still not even in Beta.

    I guess the NI staff have all been tied up working on the new stuff for Komplete 15.

    Once it's available, they'll be tied up dealing with any issues that may arise, bugs found etc.

    Maybe in a few weeks when it's all calmed down again, we may see some progress.

    @PK The DJ definitely maybe.

    But maaaan this is horrible attitude - we are users and customers and need to wait for company resource to be again free? :(

    I love Maschine but all this small things are pushing me to thinking about changing production software again. I even bought update for Reason 13 (even I didn't plan it previously).

    Well, let me make this clear: that sentence isn’t a “suggestion” from me to the dev team or anyone else within NI… 🫣😉

    And yes, in this case “hope” is probably ‘delayed disappointment’. But it really puzzles me why a product manager would otherwise allow to holdback on a bug fix and the mentioned version updates.

    Bringing the M+ to Maschine SW v2.18.2 after the release of v3.0 for desktop, would harm the product’s market position even more.

    Maybe @Simon_NI will clarify things in (or with…) his upcoming Quarterly Update.

    i think its very much likely that a new hardware of maschine would also adapt the single screen of the kontrol series. which imo would make total sense. not sure if there will be new hardware though.

    This is such a subjective evaluation. Whether something is "worth another investment" is to be determined by the purchaser alone. You may think it's an unwise investment, and that's fine for you. My supervisor once told me about how his nephew spent thousands of dollars just to get front row seats to see Taylor Swift. I can think of other ways I'd like to spend that kind of money, but it worked for him. If necessary, I can always find a way to sell my current Maschine+. The Maschine I own was heavily discounted B-stock I bought off Reverb, so I didn't put a ton of money into it. I don't feel like I'm permanently attached to this specific piece of hardware. Or any hardware I have.

    Aah! So you don’t respond to what’s on topic, but are willing to teach me a ’wise lesson’… 👌🏻 👋🏻

    I'm not trying to teach you a lesson. I prefer a single screen. I've seen some people say they don't and are fine with the setup as it currently is. Different people have different opinions about this. I don't see why this is controversial.

    @Matthew_NI is the information in this change log still relevant for the delayed update to the M+ or will it contain the Maschine 3.0 App version?

    I would expect that they will release the M+ update before we see Maschine 3.0 for the desktop, as that was the original time line (the M+ update is behind schedule).

    Yes, that’s what I was citing, and after that he did also share the release notes I’m referring to 😉

    And in the Kontakt 8 thread he also said there was a change of plans, so the M+ update was sent back to the fridge… probably until the end of this year.

    Therefore I hope it will include the 3.0 App, otherwise the M+ users cannot benefit from the integrated workflow with the latest DAW version (like we can’t for months now).

    @HugoClubs Maschine 2.18 is also technically „compatible“ with the M+, yet we‘re still on 2.17… why would you expect zero delay for a major Maschine version upgrade, if even such minor updates take several months to a year (remember how long it took to get from 2.16 to 2.17)?
