I bought an S88 Mk1 (second-hand) from the first owner. Is it possible for him to deregister and for me then to register my controller (S88, Mk1)?

Hi. I saw a second hand S88 mk1 for sale at a Guitar Center today but the sales rep wasn’t sure that the license was deauthorized or not and I didn’t want to buy it without knowing if I could be able to unlock it. I do have Komplete 14 though so would I be able to unlock the software without having the license in that instance? Thanks!

I’m going to try downloading the last working version of Komplete Kontrol for the MK1 version and see if it actually works on my MacMini M2

Being that I have Komplete 14 I don’t have to worry about registering it as I have the software. I
