is anyone still using an "access virus B" synth?
this template here is a good starter to dig deeper into this quote: "extremely capable synth, and tends to have a darker, smooth, lush sound to it. Anything from epic/atmospheric film stuff, special effects, ambient, distorted/distressed, plucky, LFO/arpeggiated, evolving paddy goodness" - which is all now directly at your hands! for me the SMK3 now brought the virus up to another level, so, hope you can enjoy it as well :)
tbh, I'm still scratching my head on how to set up the "additional" Midi Page B -
any hint in that direction is very welcome.0 -
Anyone Have a clue on how to start with an Integra 7? I know Roland loves their MSB, LSB. Will the MK3 support that?

Would be good to have a way to name each page or did I miss that?
Also to be able to create sections like in NKS

Your guide is most helpful and appreciated.
Can you explain how you established characters that work in the templates ?
Thank You.

thanks, my pleasure.
established via trial and error:
I imported all signs/emojis I could find on the www and noted the working ones 🤷♂️
so the list is pretty much far from "complete" I suppose.
feel free to add any signs you find additionally…0 -
Anyone have hydrasynth desktop

Here is the MOOG Model 15 (software standalone) - you need to use the template in Kontrol but also import the CC map into the synth

As far as I can see on the midi implementation chart you only need that for selecting the banks (cc0,cc32), then a PC message (MK3 can do that) for selecting the sound but for all other stuff you can use standard midi cc, like cutoff is cc74 and so on. So it depends on what you want to do exactly. Browsing sounds, I would say, makes no sense, cause you have no screen feedback, and if you look on your Integra you could also select sounds from there. But playing and altering sounds is possible. Just try the midi cc stuff from the midi implementation chart and go from there.

Makes sense. I will try experimenting with more for funsies !

Thank you for responding. I don’t understand midi that well. I will do some research. How’d you know which CC’s could be substituted for MSB, LSB? If you have any documentation to help me learn, I’d appreciate it if you wouldn’t mind sharing. What you’re saying makes sense. I’ll need to just do what makes sense ergonomically.

Yeah, need those buttons for KK instruments as well. The example with the keyswitches in the promo video is the perfect use case. I want to be able to program keyswitches to those buttons but also use the KK mapping at the same time. Also, it would be great if the buttons were bankable so if I had more than 8 keyswitches I could access them all by banking through them. All of that should be saved to the KK mapping itself so that as I'm selecting instruments in KK, the keyswitch values/labels are changing along with the knobs, images, etc. This would easily instantly be the best key switching solution on the market. I think it's probably even possible to enable without requiring any extra work from NKS partners - since a lot of them already have keyswitch ranges specified for the light guide.

Any one written a template for Cubase 13? which is avaliable to upload?

I started one, and as soon as I'm ready I will upload it, i'm concentrating on the quick controls and the cubase channel strip. But maybe I will use the mackie protocol then I can do more, but I have to try a bit what makes sense and so on.
