hello dears. Today year 2024 on we have very powerful instruments like bios 2, logic pro, cubasis 3, samplers and another apps and software on iPad with laptop processor, but we don’t have basic app for us like Kontakt Player. One question - when?

Wrong question! Right question would be: If? Anyone who could give an answer wouldn't be allowed to. But looking at other NI adventures on iPadOS I am pretty sure the answer is "No" for now. iMaschine isn't available anymore, Traktor DJ is still available but NI announced end of support. Last update was 4 years ago.

    Wow this really sucks!!!
I think a lot of people (Like myself) would love to have Kontact in iOS for live performance
instead of a laptop using the latest M4 chip and MK3

Native Instruments has no love for iDevices. Practically never did…just someone was so forward-looking in the early iOS days to “try” something. But then…everything almost stopped there.

And now that the time is ripe, the people we have at NI nowadays are just killing everything, probably because back in the days they decided there was no market there. But things are changed now.

In any case, it’s not completely correct that we don’t have any app to “replace” an iPadOS Kontakt.

Things like Pianoteq 8 can serve you good
