Trakor pro and xdj 700

once you set up traktor and xdj 700 is there a setting to save to you don't have to play on pc or Mac anymore thanks

    I don't understand. Can you rephrase that?

    Do you want to export to USB? In that case you need to use rekordbox.

    hi when you you set up the xdj 700 with traktor and you have on of the xdjs on track a and one on track b how do you save the settings on the xdjs so you don't have to use the laptop anymore

    in other words can i use a usb stick with traktor xdjs 700 and save the settings of the xdjs 700 so i don't have to use traktor with laptop

    I don't think you understand what HID mode is.

    It turns the CDJs into controllers for Traktor.

    If you want to use just a USB stick with the XDJ700s, then you need to export your music to a USB stick using Rekordbox.

    Traktor cannot do this for you.

    That questions makes no sense. You can't run traktor without a laptop.

    If you want to use XDJs without a laptop you have to export your music to an USB stick, that is what almost everyone does. And currently only Rekordbox (it's free) and virtual DJ can export to USB that the XDJ can read.

    (Technically you can also throw the files on a USB stick wihtout rekordbox, but then you don't have waveform, key, playlists etc.)

    Maybe we just don't understand your question.

    But you can't run Traktor without a computer. It's software for PC and Mac.

    You can try to make a drawing.

    i wanted to use it like if it was rekorbox plug and play with usb drive but i guess you have have the tsi file i'm assuming to use the xdj 700 and traktor does anyone have it please thanks

    It CAN'T BE DONE. Whatever you think you've seen, you haven't.

    The only way to use the XDJ700s with Traktor is using HID mode. I know, because I owned a pair of XDJ700s for over five years until I upgraded to the 1000s. The laptop will ALWAYS need to be plugged in and Traktor will be open.

    I don't even know why I'm explaining this.

    You can create a Playlist in traktor, use a paid program to sync the Playlist to rekordbox and then export to USB.

    But not straight from traktor.
