Maschine 2.18.3: empty or default sounds for Massive and Reaktor (MAS-29913)

I am ahead of time. Native Access just offered me an update to Maschine 2.18.3 with a release date of tomorrow. 🙃

    So hopefully we see feedback as to whether there are issues like v2.18 I see it in my Native Access account, but I'm going to wait for a week or so……

    Indeed. Ableton crashing after GUI closed is solved, BUT!

    if you open groups or projects included Massive / Reaktor presets dont load. You can see the presets name, but its the init patch.

    Same for you ?

    VST2 or VST3? Might also be worth rescanning your VST folders.

    Rescanning and adding VST2 or VST3 paths did not solve the issue. Is anybody experiencing the same?

    Same issue with Massive and Reaktor. Presets don't load.

    @Zenda @Richardfi can you give more context about your setup and process? What OS are you on? Maschine 2 running as app or as plugin in a DAW? If as plugin, what DAW? What projects, kits or sounds are not loading? When and how were those sounds saved?

    Best would be to start a thread about this issue and give detailed explanations of what you’re doing and what fails.

    I can definitely do that, but it’s just opening standalone test a project or group from any expansion that uses massive or Reaktor and you see the presets are not loaded.

    I can confirm this issue. Kits are not recalling instrument presets. I filed a bug report for this with NI.

    @tetsuneko @PK The DJ can you confirm this issue?

    It may either be restricted to system configurations (in my case macOS Ventura on Intel) or other factors (like using VST instead of AU in Maschine on macOS).

    BTW, I found out that Massive presets for Young Phantom seem to load fine. This is quite a new Expansion. I wonder if the whole problem is related to the version of Maschine/Massive/Reaktor used for saving the Project/Kit.

    downgraded to 2.17.5 ….so my projects keep loading presets.

    better keep it in the backhand to be kind of "save" 😌
