Hi Jeremy and all,
Great news about Kontakt getting native M1 support! It's the last one on my list and am looking very forward to this!
Do you still need beta testers? I'm running a 16" MBP with M1 Pro (10CPU/16GPU). Please let me know.
Cheers!

Same boat here. Luckily it's just visual defects for me. I submitted a ticket to NI and was told...
"The degree of skipping depicted is nothing too unusual on Mac computers. It refers to a kind of well-matured technology under the hood and is expected to be subject to improvement in future Traktor generations. As you have observed correctly, it affects only the visual part of Traktor and does not at all endanger Traktor's audio output. "
So apparently skipping is usual nothing too unusual on Macs. I guess my 2012 MBP is just an anomaly as it runs Traktor without issues.

This is an important milestone for NI, following the transition from updates made by Apple to make the products work, is of great importance, showing that the company is serious and competent and does not let its customers down. :)

Ah this is great to hear. In the midst of rebuilding a ginormous Kontakt-based template in Logic so I'm in a good position to help test if needed!

For native Silicone M1-- Will there be any BETA testing for REAKTOR btw? or KOMPLETE KONTROL for that matter?

There is usually beta for new updates but I don't know if there will be another public call to join. As soon as we have a beta out, we'll check with the teams if they need more participants. Komplete Kontrol Silicon seems to be the version right after the one we have in beta now.

Amazing news! I too want nothing more than to be a part of the beta test for Kontakt. Liked your post :)

You can add me to the beta team, currently running Big Sur on M1 Mac Mini...I've opted to running Kontakt on a seperate machine in order to expedite my VST's and keep projects flowing...a native version would be surely an improvement.

I appreciate these informative and concise updates. 🙏🏾

Fingers crossed that there is an early opportunity to join a Komplete Kontrol Silicon beta.

I've liked your post as well, in between projects, so it's ideal timing...

Just popped in as I'm a new user and bought the Cremona Quartet today but I notice that, after putting a simple midi file with one if the instruments in my session view (Ableton Live 11), I'm getting processor overload when I swith to stages with the instrument. It leads to skipping in the audio.
I haven't recorded yet as I'm still building all the parts but I did all the things to reduce the load on my CPU and it's still happening, so I think it's a NI issue of compatibility with M1.
All the threads and pages about this don't refer to these instrument compatibility issues that I can see, so I am wondering if this is an NI issue. the hardware is brand new, and the processor should have power for one new midi track, that shouldn't be an issue.
Can anyone offer any guidance?

Hey @AJ_Schuler Cremona Quartet is a Kontakt instrument which is not yet compatible with an M1 MacBook and OS12 (which I guess is your OS?): https://www.native-instruments.com/en/products/komplete/samplers/kontakt-6/specifications/
You're welcome to join our beta test or wait until we officially release an update which will include M1 and Monterey compatibility.
