Hi, I've purchased a Komplete Audio 2 and can't get sound.

I can see the input led's working but can't get any sound to my speakers or headphones. In fact while the USB lead is connected to the computer there is no sound even when using other applications such as youtube. I unplug it and everything goes back to normal. I'm using windows 10. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello,

    have you checked the windows audio settings and activate the ka2 as primary audio device? With headphones you should be able to hear the input signals, just use the "input/host" mix knob. have you also installed the drivers as shown here: https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001194217-Installing-the-ASIO-Driver-for-KOMPLETE-AUDIO-1-2-6-MK2-Windows

    Thanks for your reply. I have installed the asio driver. I'm attempting to use guitar rig 7. I now have an input into GR7 and I'm able to tune the guitar using it. There is no output from GR7 therefore nothing to the computer 3.5 headphone jack. I can't try the headphones directly into the Komplete Audio 2 until I get an adaptor but surely I should be able to use the computer headphone jack. Should I try an app other than GR7?

    But then you should be able to hear something out of gr7, check the "preferences/audio/outputs" tab, are there the correct ones set. You can use the tape deck (pre or post) as a sound source while testing.

    If he installed ASIO and selected that driver in GutarRig then this interface (KA2) will be the only one used by GR. NI software can’t use a different interface for input and a different one for output (to my knowledge). So he will not hear anything from his computer HP output. Only KA2 outputs will produce the audio signal from GR.
