How to set up Audio Interfave with Kontrol s2 mk3

New to dj stuff and got my new s2 mk3 today, but it's an absloute nightmare to set up.

I'm using the s2 with a komplete audio 2 interface, but there's no sound.

I plug the s2 into the 2 inputs of the audio interface and i see on the leds of the interface that theres a signal coming to the interface, but no sound from the speakers.

headphones from the s2 work also normal audio playing from my pc.

what need i do change?

Hello,

why do you use 2 interfaces? Just setup one (with the asio driver if you use the komplete audio) and just use this. But if you set it up like that you need to setup the S2 as interface and the audio 2 mix knob to input. Headphones then of course connected to the s2

it's not possible, because there is no way to monitor with the komplete 2.

Why are you using the Komplete Audio 2 at all? Easiest way is to only use your S2 Mk3.

Because the interface is connected to PC and monitors and I don't want to switch cables so the time

Yeah I saw in the manual that the direct monitor only works for the headphone output. So then it's not possible without software that routes the inputs to the outputs on the back of the audio 2 but this will add a delay but possible. So best is to only use the interface of the controller or buy an audio 6 and use this at home. If you don't want to plug and unplug the cables to the device you could use extensions too.

I already ordered an audio 6 mk2 and tried it.

Also not working.

I tried it with 1+2 as master and 3+4 as monitor for headphones. Cue doesn’t work this way.

If I use 1+2 as monitor and 3+4 as master, cue does work, but I can't control the master volume of the audio because you can only change the volume of 1+2 with the volume pot of the interface.
