Traktor Kontrol Z2 - Scratch Disabled
Hi,
I'm struggling to setup Traktor Kontrol Z2 + Scratch + 2 reloops turntables. The setup was working like 2 years ago, but I havent been using it since then and I installed on two new Windows 10 machines. Both have same problem - 'Scratch Disabled'. Running Setup Wizard did not helped at all, I also tried brand new timecode vinyl - no luck.
Tried changed the RCA cable but it seems the signal is going in. I just cant convince Traktor to calibrate/read the timecode. Any ideas what I might be missing or how to troubleshoot it further? Is there a way to disable/enable scratch/timecode?

my settings in windows show Kontrol Z2 (ASIO), did you install the kontrol Z2 ASIO drivers? did you activate traktor in native access?
check RCA is connected to Phono inputs ,check ground cables, z2 switch to Phono/line inputs
check the manual maybe you missed something0 -
Hi,
Thanks your answer. Yep, I did all of those already. Seems Native access already took care after the update.
I assume RCA are good, as working other devices and other RCA did not change anything. Same with ground and switching phono/line (I can hear time-code on pass-through phono).
Anyway what make me wonder tho is outcome of Setup Wizard. It looks wrong:It shows external mixer like it would not detect Traktor at all, while the instruction is showing different setup (internal mixer + Kontrol Z2).
Can anyone confirm how does it looks on your end? Also any ideas how to convince Traktor/SetupWizard to actually detect Kontrol Z2 as expected? I assume this might be the issue.

Ok, I found the issue - I was able to replicate it on two windows 10 machines.
Installing only drivers and native access did not helped - I was trying this multiple times with different setup (device connected/not connected, restart etc.)
What seems to actually helped was the fact I installed Controller Editor as per last point of:https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/210275045-My-Traktor-Controller-is-Not-Recognized
Odd. Anyway it's working now.

BTW, I cannot find ASIO drivers for Z2 - where did you get those from?
