Native Access Sound Selection

Here is a weird thing that is happening:

I have recently moved our MD over to a new mac. And one set of plug-ins in general are having the hardest of times.

Situation:
1. MD brought over some old Logic files from previous Mac
2. Opens file on new machine
3. All sounds except battery load
4. To get battery sounds to load you nagivate to channel and tell Battery use "x" folder and it locates it and plays
5. It does NOT save this if you press save, close and re-open the file
6. To get it to save you have to select any random plugin and then re-select the original plugin you had saved et voila. When you save, close, and re-open it works just fine.

What I want to know is, is this an expected behavior? Does the MD have to open every single one of his logic saves and de-select and re-select each individual sound in order to get this to work properly?

    Hello,

    this is unfortunately a long known issue, battery has problems if the drive and/or folder changes. That you.have to unselect and select battery again at least works, I wasn't able to save cubase projects without samples missing after re-opening. We discussed that a while back here in the forum but I can't remember if it should be fixed with the latest update.
