Yeah, and just like in the Post Office, they try to make out it is only me having issues.

no you're not, j'ai "perdu" beaucoup de "temps" that make 2 of us, though I know how I am going to deal with that and fix it up quickly so we can go back to our lives.

Big fat lies do not help anymore

Can we use Maschine as a plug-in sound source, recording directly onto DAW tracks, using the pads as low-latency triggers in MIDI Mode?

I've asked 3 NI product specialists how to do this - they've all said it's possible, and would get back to me with info how, but I've been waiting 4 years, and still no reply.

    Is there any definitive answer?

Have noticed a crash bug when trying to copy and paste a vst from one group to another, is this fixed?

Is there any news on round robin sampling? What about being able to sort out your plugins to your liking or favorites (I used to be able to somewhat sort my favorite plugins in 1.x towards the end)? Better mixing (resolution) and automation?

I've been on Maschine since Maschine 1dropped way back when. I just want to say thanks. I'll always keep it in my life.

Hey guys. First of all it was my dream to have a Maschine MK3 and now I own it :)
Thank you everyone who has made this incredible device.
I have a question regarding Prehear of Groups, or Sounds or Loops. Is it possible to pre hear this audios in headphones and when it will be loaded, play in Main outputs?

You can zoom in / out (in the Pattern editor) using CMD (STRG) + arrow up / arrow down.

In regards to keyboard shortcuts it is worth noting that we have a number of shortcuts implemented, but when you run the plugin, the key command first goes to the host application and will only reach Maschine if it is not in use there.

Good example is CMD + Z for undo. You can trigger undo with that key command in Maschine standalone app, but if you use CMD + Z when hosting Maschine as a plugin, you will undo the last action taken in your DAW.

This is something we have been trying to work around by sometimes using different key commands that are more unique to Maschine to work around the host highjacking the commands.

On the topic of providing a previous installer for people experiencing issues with the current version:

I will be discussing this with the team and get back to you. I'd like to double check and make sure that we do not create additional problems by going back a version and also how we best distribute the installers.

On the topic of scanning issues:

Apologies to everyone who is currently struggling with this. This has been reported by some of you and it does not seem to affect everyone equally. We are currently collecting information to inform our investigations. It could be a difference between Mac and Windows or also dependent on particular plugins on the system as well as potential database issues or artifacts from prior versions (such as concurrent versions of ScanApp running on a system).

Please make sure to always provide detailed information on your setup when reporting issues.
Operating System, how and when the problem occurs, is it new or has it been there before, is the problem exclusive to Maschine or also appears in other NI products, etc.

Thank you all for your help!

Kai, as I've reported elsewhere, the main plugins that keep being rescanned for me are UAD, Blue Cat, and Flux, though they are not all. I took them out and scanning times improved, though not to any acceptable levels and of course they then can't be used which is insane.

If NI feels they need to do this scan, then can they get it working in beta, if that is actually possible, before forcing it on to punters. Maschine can currently take up to 10 minutes to open, and Kontakt 3–4 minutes. How can that be deemed acceptable to anyone???

I'll ask again, and please have the decency to answer…..why does this scan have to rifle endlessly through my VST3 folder…even with NA2 and Kontakt which pretty much can't use them?

What is the actual purpose of this scan? How can it be seen as in any way useful to users?

Why isn't there a kill switch?????

Why isn't there a diagnostic script that can be run to start to understand these issues?????

If we ask really, really nicely, will NI please stop having an abusive and callous attitude towards its users

It would be great if there would be some keyboard shortcut layout table or blogpost or something like that on the community website. I think that there are many 'hidden' keyboard shortcuts in Maschine not everybody knows about.

Now I hope you will continue towards Maschine 2.2. With plugin graphics in the second screen like EQ curves and compressor metering. Punch in/out ability in clips for audio recordings. And many other great features this platform could have on offer! :-)
